Trinnov Audio will host a webinar to bring dealers up to speed on the upcoming Altitude release, including the 4.2.16.8 software release, +4 availability and configuration, and IMAX Enhanced.
Taking place on Thursday 25 November at 5pm CET (4pm GMT), the company will also go into more detail about its +4 channel option which was announced in September.
The addition of the four output channel meant that Altitude16 would support 20 discrete optimised channels, but achieving this was a challenge. A Trinnov engineer suggested converting the Toslink output of the Altitude16 to ADAT, which is a well-known transport protocol in the professional and production music industry that allows the carriage of four channels at up to 96kHz.
However, the company has now realised that using both S/PDIF outputs instead of converting the Toslink to ADAT would be an easier, more reliable, and more affordable solution.
The webinar will go into more detail about the change and the other features that the upcoming software update will bring. You can register to attend the webinar here.
