Panamax, North America’s pre-eminent designer and manufacturer of electronic and electrical protection, filtration and control products, today announced its new BlueBOLT-enabled SM3-Pro System Manager that simplifies remote system management and provides superior electrical protection, energy management and network monitoring options for entertainment systems, digital signage and network equipment hubs. The announcement was made at the Core Brands booth #350 at CEDIA Expo 2014 in the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. The affordable system manager is a powerful solution that ensures smooth operation of installed systems and utilizes BlueBOLT technology to give integrators the ability to perform remote hard reboots, monitor energy usage and network status, program scheduled on/off commands to reduce energy consumption, automatically reboot equipment after connectivity loss, and create custom triggers for on/off, reboots and alerts depending on environmental conditions based on sensor inputs. According to John Benz, Core Brands Director of Power and Accessories, “Every installation deserves robust power management and protection, and the SM3-Pro makes it very affordable for integrators to offer their clients with worry-free operation. It provides cost-savings to the integrator by reducing service calls and expedites troubleshooting through remote reboots and system diagnostics, so both the integrator and the client gain peace of mind and reduced headaches.” The SM3-Pro features three outlets in two banks, a two-port network switch, AVM protection and two accessory ports for external sensors or triggers in a compact 5.8” x 9.6” x 1.6” chassis. The SM3-Pro will begin shipping in late Q4 2014 and will include a mounting kit. www.panamax.com www.corebrands.com
