Registration for CEDIA Expo 2022 opens

Taking place from 29 September to 1 October 2022 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Centre in Dallas, Texas, CEDIA Expo 2022 has opened its registration.

With over 350 exhibiting brands spread across more than 150,000 sqft, CEDIA Expo 2022 is anticipating a strong return to its live event. Although the show went ahead in-person last year, only people within the US could attend. This year, the show has opened up to everyone for the first time since 2019.

The three-day event will give attendees the opportunity to reconnect with the industry manufacturers and suppliers across audio, video, lighting, signal distribution, control systems, energy management, security and emerging market product and solutions.

Since 2019 when the show was last held as normal, the home technology market has experienced remarkable growth and dramatic changes. The pandemic has accelerated technology needs for residential and resimercial customers especially given the rise in hybrid work and learning from home applications.

“The future is big for the home technology market,” said Jason McGraw, CTS, group vice president for CEDIA Expo and KBIS, Emerald. “We are excited for the full return of live, in-person events. This year’s event will be the largest gathering in the residential systems channel in more than three years. CEDIA Expo 2022 will feature new technology, emerging trends, education and training opportunities and peer-to-peer connection to drive businesses forward. We are looking forward to returning to Dallas for this year’s event.”

CEDIA’s annual conference programme will be held 28-29 September and will feature over 60 sessions, including new tracks on lighting and wellness. Attendees can also access free content including an industry keynote, the first-ever Industry Advocacy Town Hall, over 80 manufacturer product training sessions and show floor stage sessions at the Innovation Hub and Smart Stage.

“CEDIA Expo encompasses all that CEDIA offers under one Texas-sized roof,” commented Daryl Friedman, global president and CEO of CEDIA. “For three days, CEDIA will offer its world-class advocacy, connection and education to the home technology community by offering formal training and professional advancement, advocating for regulations that improve our industry and hearing from insightful speakers. It’s simply the premier gathering of the brightest minds in home technology, bar none.”

CEDIA members will receive free access to the show floor and can save $500 on CEDIA Education offerings with the All-Access CEDIA Conference Pass. Non-CEDIA members should register before 3 June to receive Super Saver prices for the show floor and conference passes.

Registration is now open.
