Top IoT Innovators Headline Bluetooth World 2016

The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) welcomes Google, Amazon, GE, and many more as keynote speakers at the third annual Bluetooth World eBluetooth World event in Santa Clara, March 15-16, 2016, in Levi’s Stadium.

Bluetooth World brings together companies, innovators, and developers working at the intersection of Bluetooth technology and the Internet of Things (IoT). The conference will explore at length the dynamics shaping the connected world from advancements made possible by mesh technology to the latest trends in smart home, smart cities, wearables, beacons, and more.

Bluetooth World is a unique opportunity for developers, technology leaders, and creators of every kind to come together to see the latest on how Bluetooth is making the promise of the IoT possible. With the recent release of the Bluetooth Developer Studio, Bluetooth Internet gateway architecture and toolkit, and the plans laid out in the Bluetooth Technology Roadmap for 2016, Bluetooth is taking the lead to meet developer – and consumer – demands and bring to reality the IoT experiences we want. At Bluetooth World, participants will share and learn best practices, explore various growth opportunities, evaluate business models, and network with colleagues across the wireless and IoT ecosystem.

“Bluetooth World is an opportunity to see exactly how Bluetooth technology will transform our connected future in the era of the IoT,” said Mark Powell, executive director of the Bluetooth SIG. “The billions of sensors that proliferate our daily life have the potential to communicate and add immeasurable value to the way we live. Bluetooth is about creative collaboration and Bluetooth World is where businesses, developers, and influencers come together, learn together, and create an IoT that works together for everyone.”

Bluetooth World is a two-day, two-track (Track A – Product, Market, and Strategy, and, Track B – Developer Tools) conference consisting of keynote presentations and panel discussions exploring the biggest trends around Bluetooth technology and the IoT market. Content tracks encompass multiple industries including smart home, wearables, automotive, sports and fitness, medical, beacons, start-ups, and wireless audio. The event will offer developers and OEMs insight into the business strategies and developer tools necessary to develop the next generation of IoT devices even easier than before.

Not only will attendees learn from an all-star lineup of speakers, they will also have the opportunity to participate in training sessions with the Bluetooth SIG and other key sponsors on the latest developer tools like the Gateway Smart Starter Kit and Bluetooth Developer Studio at the Developers’ Hub that will run concurrently to the main conference. Attendees can also meet with leading IoT decision makers at VIP hosted round table discussions and explore the exhibition floor’s innovative products and live demos.

Special pricing ($199) for the Developers’ Hub is available at bluetoothworldevent.com/developer-hub/.
