Following two successful events, TP Vision has announced it will continue with a third special event in August to reveal new Philips TV & Sound products which will be introduced over the autumn and winter months.
So far, the series of special online events have taken place in September last year and January this year, both attracting huge international audiences. They also featured extremely well attended online technical Q&A and retail trade sessions.
The company has now announced a third event for the European media and trade after the success of the first two. With lockdowns gradually easing throughout most of Europe, the third event will adopt a hybrid format, with the invitation-based technical Q&A sessions being held in person at locations in each of the key countries.
The online event will open on 31 August with an international press conference hosted by the CEO of Philips TV & Sound Europe at TP Vision, Kostas Vouzas, and chief marketing officer, Martijn Smelt.
It will begin with an outline of the company’s recent product and business highlights and will also present details of the company’s future plans, involving the new product reveals which include the latest OLED+ TVs and new Philips Fidelio audio products.
The company will then host a number of ‘live’ online technical seminars for invited media and hosted in key countries at set-times throughout the rest of the day.
The extended Q&A sessions will include developments in TV technology with TP Vision’s P.Q. guru, Danny Tack; Philips and Philips Fidelio Premium Sound highlights presented by the head of Philips Sound Strategy at TP Vision, Benoit Burette; as well as details on the latest Bowers & Wilkins OLED+ sound system from the director of product communication at Bowers & Wilkins, Andy Kerr.
