ULE Alliance, a non-profit organisation developing the worldwide market adoption of the Ultra Low Energy (ULE) technology for the IoT, has announced it has partnered with Orange, a telecommunications operator, to bring new smart solutions to the home.
The use of the ULE protocol ensures that Orange customers can enjoy additional benefits, including low power consumption, extended indoor coverage and a particularly simple installation procedure.
At IFA Berlin this week, Orange’s “Maison Connectée” products, including Livebox router, smart bulb, motion detector, smart plug and door sensor, will be shown on the ULE Alliance stand (Hall 25, Stand 404).
In addition, other ULE Alliance members will be presenting their products on the stand, including Crow, Deutsche Telekom, DSP Group, Gigaset, Jazz Hipster, Panasonic and VTech.
Providing seamless interoperability over diverse networks, the ULE Alliance will also be showing the ULE and Open Connectivity Foundation’s IoTivity bridging gateway.
