Z-Wave Alliance, an open consortium of leading companies that rely on the Z-Wave wireless standard, will be represented by numerous members at CeBIT 2014. At shared booth 40 in hall 13, Alliance will present the latest innovations in home control. In addition, specialist presentations by Z-Wave Alliance chairman Mark Walters, Alliance spokesperson Prof. Dr. Christian Paetz and Michal Rodziewicz, sales director of Alliance member Fibaro, will be held as part of the Smart Home forum in hall 13 (booth B43) on March 13.
Visitors to the trade fair can experience Z-Wave Alliance’s full expertise in home automation. On March 13 at 10:30 a.m. at the professional forum Smart Home & Communications, Alliance chairman Mark Walters will give a lecture titled “News from the First Smart Home Mass Marketâ€. Prior to this, at 10:00 a.m., Prof. Dr. Christian Paetz will open the forum with a lecture titled “How Open Standards Create New Marketsâ€. At 11:00 a.m., Michal Rodziewicz of Alliance partner Fibaro will conclude the forum with a lecture on “How Design Changes the Acceptance of Smart Home Productsâ€.
Z-Wave, with 1,000 interoperable, brand-independent products in the smart home market, is now the most widely used wireless protocol for control and automation products and wireless services worldwide. Z-Wave Alliance comprises over 250 international manufacturers in all. More than 25 million Z-Wave-based devices are installed globally in business and home sectors.
