ADI has expanded the availability of Control4’s X4 platform across EMEA, Canada, APAC and Latin America after introducing it to the US last year.
The redesigned user experience now comes to global markets with an optional Control4 Connect service framework, previously made available to partners through an Early Access programme.
It’s supportive of new and existing systems, offering both a refined user experience and streamlined features including Routines and Widgets.
Eric Fritz, sr. director product management at ADI, said: “For the EMEA market, this announcement represents a significant step forward for both our partners and their customers.
“Across the region, we’re seeing rising expectations around design, usability and long-term system value, and Control4 X4 and Control4 Connect directly address those demands.
“Together, they give our partners a more competitive platform.”

The Connect framework manages security, updates and compatibility in a predictable service model.
It’s also available as an optional premium tier offering curated Routines, expanded Apple ecosystem integration (including Apple Music, AirPlay 2 and HomeKit), and ongoing feature enhancements.
The company says this helps create a clearer pathway for customers to grow their system over time, while opening new recurring revenue opportunities for partners.
It adds that the X4 interface introduces cleaner visual language, faster navigation and an upgraded home screen in response to user comparisons with "the polished digital experiences" of consumer technologies.
