ASCENDO, Barco Residential, StormAudio, PrimeTheatre and Technology Integration Partners (TIP) are teaming up on a Luxury Immersion Cinema at ISE 2026.
Dubbed a new reference point for high-end residential theatre design, the concept centres on Barco Residential’s Runar LED video wall: a system scheduled for DCI certification under the latest HDR standards.
With a 0.9mm pixel pitch, native DCI 4K resolution and Micro LED in Package (MIP) technology, Runar delivers cinema-grade performance at residential viewing distances to support both DCI-HDR content and HDR formats.
Meanwhile, ASCENDO contributes a dedicated 14.8.8-channel system to address the unique audio challenges posed by solid LED walls.
The system features new speakers designed to integrate around the screen while preserving accurate sound localisation. Making its debut at ISE is ASCENDO’s latest speaker designed for LED environments, THE8 PRO PASSIVE LED WEDGE.
Geoffrey Heinzel, co-managing partner of ASCENDO, said: “For LED applications, audio must be perceived as coming from the vertical centre of the wall without exception.
“Our design approach, as always, is to use point source speakers for seat-to-seat performance consistency in multi-seat home theatre environments.
“Because our speakers are direct-radiating, they are capable of extremely high-performance results.”
Moving on, StormAudio provides the processing and amplification backbone using its Elite 32 processor and new Impulsion 8 amplifier to maintain audio-video coherence.
The theatre environment itself is designed and built by PrimeTheatre, delivering a fully integrated cinema experience on the show floor.
Owner Helder Martins addded: "This is more than a technology demo.
"It is a masterclass in modern residential cinema, giving integrators a clear vision of how DCI-grade LED video and immersive audio designed for LED, in concert with a room built for performance, raise expectations."
