CEDIA to deliver RP32 workshop based on ‘measurement and engineering’ at ISE 2026

CEDIA has announced a full-day, hands-on workshop focused on audio system measurement and verification at ISE 2026.

Aiming to raise professional standards across the industry, the CEDIA RP32 Workshop takes place on February 2 from 9am-6pm.

The session centres on a structured methodology for measuring and verifying audio system performance, open to both residential integrators and commercial professionals.

Led by industry experts Peter Aylett, Ben Goff and Adam Pelz, the workshop places a strong emphasis on practical application.

Peter Aylett, volunteer chair of education for CEDIA, said: “The RP32 workshop is all about closing the circle.

“It’s about taking the promises we make to customers and using measurement and engineering to prove that systems perform as intended.”

Attendees will work directly with industry-standard measurement tools and software, learning how to consistently capture reliable data, interpret results and document performance.

The training is particularly relevant for integrators seeking objective verification of system performance.

International CEDIA instructors are also encouraged to attend, allowing the Recommended Practice to be more widely adopted and promoted across global markets.

Upon completion, participants will be equipped to apply the RP32 methodology, perform repeatable measurements, verify results against RP22 parameters and communicate outcomes to clients.
