CUK has announced a new appointment to its residential CI team “to strengthen trade relationships” and more.
Kyle Basley will step into the role of CI sales manager for the UK distributor’s South of England division, working alongside CI channel manager Phillip Roe from October 6.
Basley, pictured, will draw on his background in product and system design to engage CI businesses at CUK's new demonstration and training facility in Ascot.
Basley said: “I’m excited to be joining CUK’s responsive and dynamic team.
“Their dedication to the highest levels of sales support and service, proven by many years of success in the demanding pro-install market, lends huge potential to the role.
“I look forward to driving greater exposure for brands with such compelling technical attributes and performance benefits.”
Specialising in technical sales support for a range of brands and sectors, Basley joins CUK from ADI/Snap One and Control 4 where he boosted value for integration partners over three years as area sales manager for Southern England.
Basley's experience across audio, visual and home cinema brands includes a combined seven years in product management and business development roles at Habitech.
Additionally, he spent 18 months working as a project manager for a commercial smart lighting company.
CUK managing director Stuart Thomson added: “Kyle’s successful track record in selling and supporting high performance brands is the perfect fit for CUK’s mission to strengthen trade relationships with enhanced product awareness, knowledge and experiences.
“He was recommended to CUK by customers (to whom we are extremely grateful) and his affinity with our high product and service aspirations was apparent from the first conversation.”
