Daikin headlines Grand Designs Live 2026 to showcase integrated climate control

Daikin UK will return as headline sponsor of Grand Designs Live in 2026, using the London and Birmingham shows to introduce whole-home climate control to homeowners seeking the perfect space.

At both the London Excel and Birmingham NEC, visitors will be able to explore how the manufacturer's heat pumps integrate with wider home energy ecosystems including smart controls, PV and battery storage.

Daikin UK managing director Tomoji Miki said the show is an influential platform for these technologies, while Grand Designs Live director Richard Morey highlighted how Daikin’s low-carbon heating and cooling aligns with “visionary... and sustainable ways of living”.

Daikin expects hundreds of qualified homeowner leads from the sponsorship, creating opportunities for integrators aligned with its Sustainable Home Network.

Systems such as Daikin Multi+, which delivers heating, cooling and domestic hot water from a single unit, are expected to see stronger demand as the UK government moves to expand the Boiler Upgrade Scheme to include air-to-air heat pumps.

For installers, Daikin’s Sustainable Home Centres guide homeowners toward accredited partners and help ensure projects are delivered to Microgeneration Certification Scheme (renewable energy, or MCS) standards.

The manufacturer is positioning its training, design guidance and regulatory insight as an advantage ahead of 2026 UK policy updates.
