Trinnov Audio introduces landmark software update to ‘entire Altitude line’

Trinnov Audio has announced a landmark software update to its Altitude16 and Altitude32 processors.

The audio specialist develops its Altitude processor line with the latest implementations of Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro and Auro-3D.

The free software update also includes a redesigned user interface to simplify daily operation, system configuration and advanced calibration.

Arnaud Laborie, CEO of Trinnov Audio, said: “The entire Altitude line is being re-engineered for more; and if you’re an Altitude owner, it’s already yours.”

Trinnov’s latest implementations of immersive audio decoding technologies include support for features such as Dolby Surround upmixing on wide channels.

Additionally, the update preserves prior Altitude features and functionality like Optimizer, WaveForming and Remapping.

The architectural improvements are said to prepare the Altitude platform for future capabilities.

Announced in advance of availability, the update can only be triggered by a licensed Trinnov dealer and requires end users to contact their authorised integrator.

It will begin shipping on all newly produced Altitude16 and Altitude32 units before the year’s end.

Integrators are advised to keep the update timeline in mind when scheduling upcoming calibration and firmware updates for installed devices.

Trinnov will host training and demonstrations of the new Altitude UI throughout CEDIA Expo in Denver, September 3- 6.
