Devialet has introduced the Devialet Dione, an all-in-one Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 soundbar providing immersive sound for home cinemas and home entertainment applications.
With a unique design, the Devialet Dione combines 17 drivers to deliver deep infrabass, dynamic midrange medium and clear treble. Thanks to Devialet’s proprietary ADH amplification technology, the soundbar produces high-quality sound clarity. With eight built-in SAM-powered subwoofers, the Devialet Dione removes the need for a separate subwoofer.
To further enhance the sound experience, Devialet Dione is powered by a suite of patented Devialet technologies that work alongside a specific acoustic architecture.
Compatible with Dolby Atmos, Devialet Dione also uses Devialet SPACE to actively upscale any signal into a 5.1.2, creating an immersive spatialisation effect. AVL equalises sound levels in real-time so that listeners can get the impact of the sound effects without missing the crispness of dialogue, while ADE and room calibration automatically optimises the sound for the given position or space.
The all-in-one soundbar is intended to deliver cinematic viewing and listening experiences in 3D, 5.1.2, or stereo configurations.
Using specific acoustic architecture and proprietary technologies, Devialet Dione can adapt to its surroundings to ensure the listener is getting the best performance no matter where it is placed in a room.
Beamforming techniques are included to cancel noise and improve spatialisation. The nine high-excursion full-range speakers provide full immersion capabilities, while the eight long throw subwoofers recreate deep bass for high-performance cinematic and listening experiences.
Aesthetically, Devialet Dione presents a fairly thin design without compromising on performance. Catering to different needs, the soundbar is designed to stand out as a feature piece but blend in to not take away from the action. The iconic patented central ORB, which is a nod to Phantom’s signature aesthetic, allows Devialet Dione to adapt mechanically and acoustically to any in-home placement. ORB maintains perfect front-facing orientation no matter the position Devialet Dione.
The soundbar can be positioned in two ways: either wall-mounted or placed flat on a piece of furniture.
Devialet Dione is made from premium materials and finishings, including anodized aluminium central core and carefully selected acoustic fabrics to align with high-end audio positioning.
Control of the soundbar is achieved via the intuitive user interface on the Devialet app. This allows users to model the room using room calibration, adjust modes and enable connection via Bluetooth.
Featuring four audio modes, Devialet Dione can be tailored to different content types and uses. The four modes are Movie and Spatial (5.1.2 upmixing), Music (true stereo rendering), and Voice (medium frequencies highlighting).
For comfortable listening and a better user experience, Devialet AVL is embedded in the product, while the TV remote can also be used to change the volume on Devialet Dione.
