‘It’s about raising expectations’: Home Technology Association launches digital Inspiration Gallery

The Home Technology Association (HTA) has launched an Inspiration Gallery and refreshed homepage.

HTA, a third-party certifying body for home technology integration firms, showcases a range of real-world projects in its new Inspiration Gallery.

In the immersive digital portfolio, users can explore spaces from HTA certified integrators and supporting brands which invite architects and builders to collaborate early with smart home professionals.

Rex Barrett, projects director specialising in marine projects for Ideaworks, a UK-based integrator, said: "HTA’s new Inspiration Gallery and homepage updates are a significant step forward in showcasing how integrated technology can enhance the world’s most beautiful spaces.

"By presenting actual projects—we included two of our residential and one superyacht project—the platform helps clients and design professionals see what’s possible when technology is considered from the outset."

HTA Certification is awarded exclusively to firms that meet the criteria for technical competence, customer service, aftercare support and endorsements from architects, designers, and builders.

The certification process requires positive feedback from design and build professionals to ensure integrators are uniquely qualified for luxury residential and marine projects.

Brian Richards, president of US-based home automation company Precision Media Solutions, said his team appreciates the opportunity to connect with potential clients through the Gallery.

Richards added: “Clients and the design-build community can view luxury lighting, shading, and audio/video systems within actual installations, seamlessly integrated into architecture and decor.

“The Gallery credits each integrator, allowing clients to directly engage with firms capable of delivering these results."

HTA’s homepage highlights images and videos of real-world luxury home cinemas, whole-home control systems, hidden technologies, human-centric lighting and more.

Josh Christian, CEO of the Home Technology Association, said: "It's about raising expectations and helping clients, architects, interior designers, and builders recognise the immense value of involving HTA Certified integrators from the very start of their projects."
