Sound United has announced that it has promoted a member of its team to fulfil the vice president of European commercial operations role.
Jason Dear, who has stepped up into the new role, began working for Sound United since 2006 when he was brought on to lead the Marantz business in the UK. Since He briefly left the company to join Bowers & Wilkins as the European channel lead, but when Sound United completed its acquisition of Bowers & Wilkins late last year, Dear resumed his leadership role in the UK as general manager for all Sound United brands.
“Sound United continues to experience rapid growth and development across the audio industry,” said Blair Tripodi, chief commercial officer for Sound United. “To support regional team development, and service our dealers the best way we know how, we have been on the lookout for the right candidate to oversee our EU commercial operations team.
“After an exhaustive search across the region, we were very pleased to find the best candidate had been on our team all along. We’re confident Jason will continue to lead our European business on its upward trajectory and are excited to see him grow.”
