L-Acoustics booth to feature HYRISS technologies at CEDIA Expo 2025

L-Acoustics has announced it will demo its multipurpose room technologies at the CEDIA Expo 2025 on September 3-6 in Denver, USA.

The professional-grade audio company says visitors to booth #4025 will experience an immersive demo room featuring HYRISS (Hyperreal Immersive Sound Space) technologies, alongside a meeting area.

A combination of Soka loudspeakers and SB10i subwoofers for surround channels alongside compact X4i models for height channels will form the basis of the 360-degree spherical loudspeaker system.

Nick Fichte, global business development lead, Home & Yacht at L-Acoustics, said: “We’re excited to welcome CEDIA Expo visitors to experience the power and adaptability of HYRISS technologies firsthand.

“L-Acoustics lives and breathes innovation, and our technologies unveiled at CEDIA Expo will mark a major step forward in professional-grade audio for luxury residences and yachts.

“With our trusted products, expert support and integrator-first approach, L-Acoustics continues to rewrite the rules for what’s possible in home and marine audio.”

At the core of the HYRISS experience will be Anima, the audio source dynamic spatialisation feature embedded within the L-ISA processor.

Loudspeakers will be driven by L-Acoustics LA7.16i amplified controllers.

Seamless connectivity to source device products from partners Kaleidescape and StormAudio will be delivered by the LC16D, a high-capacity AES/EBU- and MADI-to-Milan-AVB converter – housed in a rugged 1RU chassis for installation flexibility.

An LS10 Milan-AVB switch will ensure plug-and-play integration within the L-Acoustics ecosystem.

The full setup will be supported by projection and video processing from partners Barco Residential, madVR and Stewart Filmscreen.

The latter provides an acoustically transparent screen to deliver the necessary sound transparency for L-Acoustics high performance speakers, enabling the system to meet the CEDIA RP22 performance standard.

For system design and client communication, L-Acoustics will also showcase Soundvision Connect, the new cloud-based extension of its Soundvision 3D modelling software.

Outside of the demo space, visitors can also explore an additional booth area featuring individual loudspeakers and other products from the L-Acoustics range such as the new LA1.16i amplified controller.
