CEDIA has launched a new website to showcase projects from CEDIA Award winners and finalists, as well as the year’s Best New Product and the Product Hall of Fame winners.
As well as the new dedicated website, winners and finalists have all received a personalised case study to use when talking with clients and design and build professionals.
Cris Pyle, CEDIA’s vice president of marketing and industry relations said: “We are thrilled to launch this new benefit for those member companies who represent the best of technical excellence and innovation in the industry. Providing this platform will really drive engagement across the board, from homeowners to design and build professionals to top tier media.”
“Over the years, we’ve had such fantastic feedback about how the programme has helped companies win new business – and this is just one more tool companies can utilise to show their expertise,” added Giles Sutton, CEDIA senior vice president of industry engagement.
“The way projects are presented provides an easy way to really dig in to understand the ins-and-outs and see the fantastic project imagery, as well as easily link to the integrator’s website for more information. I think our manufacturer members will also be very pleased to see themselves highlighted in equipment lists for each project.”
The CEDIA Awards programme is an effective method of demonstrating the work of the industry to audiences who are less familiar with home technology, which has been proved again this year as finalists have had coverage in the likes of The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, The Financial Times, and The Sunday Times.
Set to open for submissions on January 13, 2020, this year’s award submission process will be run on a new easy-to-use platform, and CEDIA has worked to streamline the entry requirements so it is easier for members to enter.
Projects completed between March 2018 and March 2020 will be accepted for the 2020 programme.
