RTI updates Integration Designer with workflow enhancements

RTI has released the latest update to its control system programming software, intended to enhance project workflows.

Integration Designer 11.13 aims to improve efficiency, from project design through to deployment and long-term maintenance.

RTI says it is practical update focused on reducing programming friction, supporting scalability and more reliable system operation for integrators.

For example, the redesigned Driver Store offers improved organisation, licensing visibility, ratings and metadata.

RTI-certified drivers are housed in the Official library, while the Community library highlights contributions from third-party developers.

The Driver Store can also be downloaded for offline use, supporting on-site programming where internet access is limited.

UI development has similarly been streamlined with the new Elegance template system; this adds dynamic theme switching alongside expanded graphical elements, including dual-state controls, resizable buttons/sliders, gauges and toggles.

These tools are designed for faster creation of modern user interfaces without the need for extensive custom artwork.

And for larger installations, Integration Designer 11.13 introduces improved shared-layer control.

Programmers can now disconnect shared layers, allowing individual rooms or controllers to be customised independently without affecting the entire project.

Performance improvements include faster graphics-related operations and reduced compile times, helping speed up commissioning.

The update also adds scheduled processor reboots, enabling daily or weekly automatic restarts as part of proactive system maintenance.
