Savant has boosted its existing strategic partnership with network products and services provider, NETGEAR, to offer the full suite of its networking solutions to integrators.
This new arrangement will give integrators better access to NETGEAR’s products and services, enabling them to improve efficiency for all job sizes while creating new opportunities by offering superior networking capabilities along with exclusive, co-engineered solutions for the custom install market.
With the modern-day home becoming more integrated and home technology more accessible than ever, a network has never been more vital. The alliance between Savant and NETGEAR creates networking solutions that are optimised for the Savant smart home ecosystem, streamlining design, installation and service processes for integration professionals.
In addition to the suite already available, the two companies are working on a strategic roadmap of new products and services exclusive to and optimised for Savant.
Through this partnership, integrators will gain access to 24/7 system design and support services, increasing time efficiency while ensuring client satisfaction.
Savant and NETGEAR are also collaborating on their cloud-based management platforms (Savant SCM and NETGEAR Insight) to provide network monitoring and management capabilities.
“Savant and NETGEAR have joined forces to reduce the cost and complexity associated with home automation,” commented Vikram Mehta, senior vice president of SMB (Small Medium Business) products for NETGEAR.
“Our role in this strategic partnership is as follows: first, NETGEAR is engineering networking products specifically for home automation applications; second, we’re integrating the management of our products into Savant’s management framework; third, we’re providing technical support and training to the Savant community of integrators; and finally, we’re supporting Savant’s efforts to offer pre-set solutions bundles for certain job types to make purchasing our products directly from Savant more seamless for integrators.”
Robert Madonna, CEO of Savant said: “Understanding the vitality of networking products and services to our integration partners for jobs of every size, it was our objective to align with a highly respected provider such as NETGEAR.
“Savant and NETGEAR are creating a hassle-free, highly streamlined infrastructure that converts the challenge of networking into an important opportunity for integrators.”
NETGEAR’s devices have previously been available through the Savant store. Integrators can now expect a broader range of NETGEAR products to be available on the Savant store, with all purchases continuing towards their yearly incentive programme.
