‘We want to deliver joy in the smart home’: Josh.ai announces JVC Home Theatre Projector Partnership

Josh.ai has launched a native integration with JVC's latest D-ILA range to bring a more unified user experience to home theatre setup.

Once connected to the network, JVC projectors are automatically discovered by Josh.ai with authorisation instructions for professional installers.

Jamie Pasley, general manager of JVC Home Theatre Projectors, said the collaboration reinforces JVC’s commitment to seamless integration in modern smart homes – where “immersive experiences” and “user-centric” projection technology are gaining traction.

He commented: “As Josh.ai continues to push the boundaries of artificial intelligence in the connected home, this partnership ensures a smooth, unified integration experience for every installation.”

Through the Josh.ai Web Portal, installers can configure HDMI routing, assign output zones and organise complex theatre systems with greater efficiency.

And with no limit to the number of projectors in one home, the platform opens up possibilities for scalable media environments across multiple rooms.

Homeowners can benefit from Josh.ai’s contextual voice control to personalise their viewing experience and build custom scenes to set the desired cinematic mood.

Josh.ai CEO Alex Capecelatro added that strategic partnerships remain central to the company’s mission.

He said: “We’re excited to introduce JVC support for our mutual dealers and clients.

“Our goal is to deliver joy in the smart home, and we’re thrilled to power dynamic theatre experiences with JVC.”
