Swedish audio company, Audio Pro has upgraded its award-winning C10 speaker to add multiroom playback, combining three kinds of multiroom audio capability.
The new C10 MkII enables listeners to have multiroom audio through AirPlay 2 and Google Chromecast, as well as through the Audio Pro app.
This expansion of streaming capability was a direct response to customer demand, as the company’s CCO, Jens Henriksen explained: “This new triple function comes after customer feedback requested flexibility and choice in how they can enjoy audio via Audio Pro multiroom systems. Being able to connect Audio Pro speaker with others that use Google Cast or AirPlay 2 provides endless capabilities.”
Multiroom audio is not he only customisable feature to the new iteration of the C10; the appearance can also be adapted to the user’s style by giving the option of moving the speaker’s mesh fabric front which is fixed with hidden magnets. This reveals Audio Pro’s classic look, or the user can keep the fabric front on for a more understated, contemporary aesthetic.
Another classic feature of the C10 MkII is that it can be connected directly to a vinyl record player, combining vintage audio technology with modern, high-quality sound.
The MkII features six preset buttons, an increase from its predecessor, giving users a way to save and store their favourite playlists and radio stations for easy access without needing to open the app.
The performance has also been improved from the original model, with the MkII featuring a new design of the bass reflex port for better flow. Audio Pro has also updated several critical components inside to upgrade the sound quality.
Offered in Arctic White, Storm Grey, or Coal Black, Audio Pro’s C10 MkII is available to pre-order for £360.
