French audio company, Cabasse, has announced the PEARL KESHI audio system, an ultra-compact 2.1 active system, featuring a connected, powered subwoofer and a pair of satellite speakers.
The latest addition to its PEARL range, KESHI’s 22cm in diameter subwoofer appears to float above a chrome base and houses 1050W (RMS) of digital amplification. It is also equipped with Bluetooth, ethernet, optical, and Wi-Fi connectivity options.
The 8cm diameter satellite speakers also ‘float’ on chrome-plated steel stands like the subwoofer. This design provides a sleek look and limits the transmission of unwanted vibrations to the floor or surface. The small, full-range speakers feature a new patented driver, including a 50-micrometre membrane.
Cabasse integrates brackets to help facilitate wall placement, enabling a choice of five angled positions. Four successive coats of matte paint have been applied to each component in the KESHI system.
The KESHI subwoofer is the brains and power behind the system. With extensive connectivity options, it features an optical for home cinema system integration, and the system wirelessly streams the latest music streaming services, including Spotify, Deezer, Qobuz, and TIDAL.
The 2.1 set-up also works with the Cabasse StreamCONTROL multiroom system, while Bluetooth and 3.5mm options offer linking solutions for CD players and turntables.
Available in black or white, the Cabasse PEARL KESHI launches this month priced at £2,299.
