Casiris launches UST projector with triple laser for accurate colours

The new Casiris A6 ultra-short-throw (UST) projector focuses on colour accuracy and brightness thanks to its triple laser technology.

Instead of using Advanced Laser Phosphor Display technology which uses a florescent laser, the Casiris A6 is powered by three primary lasers for each RGB colour to improve brightness and get more accurate colours that the human eye can perceive.

This also allows the projector to reach 107% colour gamut coverage of REC.2020, reproducing colours that cannot be shown with DCI P3 or REC 709 colour spaces.

The triple laser also displays true 4K UHD resolution with 8.3 million pixels to give clear, crisp and detailed images. Adding to the detail, the projector also features HDR10, strengthening the gradation from dark to light and contrast in the high dynamic range.

Another benefit of the triple laser is the brightness. Displaying 2200 ANSI lumens, the image and colours are clear in high contrast. Users can enjoy the projector in light and dark environments.

Casiris A6 is an ultra-short-throw projector, allowing users to display big images even when they don’t have a lot of space. Positioning the projector just 4.3” to 11.7” away from the wall, it can project an image from 80” to 120”.

Ideal for action films, sports viewing and gaming, the projector features MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) technology to allow continuously fast-moving images to remain clear and sharp.

Adding to the immersive experience, the projector comes with enhanced cinematic-level surround sound with Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD.

Having just finished a successful campaign on Kickstarter, the company are aiming for the projector to be available on Amazon soon.
