IP video door intercom manufacturer Doorbird has integrated a keypad into its smallest door station.
With the launch of D1101KV and D1102KV, Doorbird has added the option for a residents or visitors to enter buildings using a PIN code.
Customised, programmable events – such as activate or deactivate an alarm system or control a compatible smart lock - can be activated via 12 buttons. Both products are PoE and WiFi-capable and do not require a LAN cable.
Due to their compact design, the new models are suited to single-family houses and smaller commercial properties that have limited space for the installation of the door stations.
Users of the smallest, narrow DoorBird door stations can also enter their house or property without keys. The PIN codes are created for permanent or temporary accesses, such as for deliveries of online orders with the help of the Doorbird app.
The D1101KV, with a call button, is primarily used in single-family homes and the D1102KV, with two call buttons, is used primarily in duplexes.
Both products are designed to be easy to install and contain the functions of the D11x series, including open API interfaces, geofencing, quality video and audio, motion sensor with 4D technology and Bluetooth.
