Swann has launched its EliteX 6K NVR Security System, introducing a PoE-based surveillance platform without subscription fees.
The EliteX system is equipped with four dome or bullet cameras and supports up to 16 channels in total.
Each camera delivers 6K (12MP) resolution, designed to capture fine details such as faces and number plates.
Power over Ethernet ensures continuous 24/7 operation to avoid potential Wi-Fi reliability issues.
The system incorporates AI-based detection, allowing alerts to be triggered by people, vehicles or pets entering customisable intrusion zones.

Users can define detection grids per camera, reducing false notifications and improving relevance.
Integrated spotlights and sirens provide active deterrence, while colour night vision extends up to 25m in low-light conditions.
Swann has also included pre- and post-event recording and a Smart Search function to streamline footage review.
The NVR features a 2TB internal hard drive for local storage, with no mandatory cloud fees, and can be expanded from eight to 16 channels via an additional network switch.
With IP66-rated weatherproof cameras and two-way audio, the EliteX system is suited to both residential and light commercial applications.
