Global audio brand, Klipsch has announced a new series of its acclaimed Reference speakers for 2022, featuring a host of dramatic upgrades including technologies derived from its award winning Klipsch Reference Premiere series.
Comprised of 10 models, including Dolby Atmos enabled speakers, the new series is infused with the latest audio technological advancements as well as cosmetic and material upgrades.
Now in its seventh generation, the Klipsch Reference series delivers higher sound quality, precision, clarity and effortless power. The new series features a new, larger, edge-to-edge proprietary Tractrix horn which provides improved coverage, bandwidth and directivity control.
It also has new woofers which are made of spun-copper thermoformed crystal polymer (TCP) use steeper angling of cones for a smoother response and better crossover integration for improved accuracy and transparency.
Aesthetically, it has a modern design to suit any interior style. The speakers have enhanced cabinet bracing features such as black scratch-resistant wood grain vinyl finish, metallic coated binding posts, and discrete Dolby Atmos connections that allow for easy and refined elevation speaker integration.
The 10 new models in the series include three floorstanding speakers (R-605FA with integrated Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers, £1,499 / €1,598; R-800F, £1,249 / €1,298; and R-600F, £949 / €998), two centre channels (R-50C, £279 / €299; and R-30C, £375 / €399), two bookshelf speakers (R-50M, £325 / €349; and R-40M, £275 / €299), one Dolby Atmos elevation speaker that can also be used as a surround speaker (R-40SA, £399 / €449), and two powered subwoofers (R-121SW, £549 / €599; and R-101SW, £499 / €549).
