Faradite has launched a sensor that automates lighting, heating, audiovisual systems and more.
The smart home accessory manufacturer introduces the Motion Sensor 360 – Plaster In, which offers near-invisible automation.
The three-component design is comprised of a plaster-in mount, sensor technology insert and paintable front disc.
It is available in both Volt Free (dry contact) and KNX varieties.
The sensor sits flush to the ceiling and is designed for installation onto a 51mm hole in drywall or plasterboard.
Alternatively it can be installed in both UK and EU backboxes.
The sensor insert can be installed once the surface is plastered and painted.
The plaster-in mount is crafted from high-grade aluminium and powder-coated to support the sensor.
Spring-loaded ball bearings within the mount offer a firm hold for rotational adjustment.
The paintable front disc attaches magnetically to the sensor insert, completing the installation with a colour-matched finish.
Infrared-blocking stickers can be applied to the sensor to mask the sensor’s detection area.
