James Loudspeaker has announced the launch of its 63SA-7HO.8 high-output small aperture architectural speaker, suited for installation in smaller spaces.
The manufacturer states the latest addition to its range of Small Aperture (SA) architectural speakers, the 63SA-7HO.8, was specifically designed to solve for narrow 8-in beam widths found in newer ceiling construction.
The three-way speaker system incorporates proprietary drivers including a 6.5-in aluminium PowerPipe subwoofer, a 2-in midrange and a ¾-in tweeter to offer what James bill as “full-range musical playback,” with bass response delivered through a 3-in opening.
The 63SA-7HO.8 is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminium construction and features a modular design for easy access, in addition to a built-in limiter.
James Loudspeaker’s SA series is available with a variety of 3-in round and square standard and customised grilles, and is designed to accept industry standard 3-in and 4-in lighting trim kits.
The in-ceiling loudspeaker is available now and is ETL/UL approved. Each one is priced at USD $1,400.
