Josh.ai launches language solution for distributed AV

Josh.ai has introduced non-scene based voice media switching, expanding its artificial intelligence impact within the home.

This launch prevents integrators from having to pre-programme specific media sources and content to specific destinations for voice commands. Josh.ai now understands different sources and destinations, introducing flexibility to enable users to interact using voice commands while going from room to room.

A browser-based configuration workflow that auto-discovers audio and video devices on the network has been introduced by Josh.ai as a completely redesigned integrator setup flow for setting up AV systems in an attempt to give users a more intuitive experience.

The new setup process not only enables Josh.ai to handle complex content distribution, but also sets the groundwork for deeper integration with control system partners, including direct AV compatibility with Crestron, Control4 and Savant.

In addition, Josh is announcing support for Sony and Barco Projectors, Atlona matrix switchers, and Sony and LG televisions, doubling the amount of supported audio and video devices to bring industry-leading brands together into one system.
