British entertainment system distributor Karma-AV has welcomed the System Audio ‘Signature’ speaker range to the UK.
A Scandinavian brand known for its active wireless designs, the System Audio line-up is comprised of five passive floor, stand and wall models for space-efficient stereo and multi-channel systems.
Built for power handling in slender room-friendly designs
The range includes the floor-standing 3-way Signature 40, the wall or shelf-mounting 2-way Signature 10, the super-slender 2-way Signature 6 on-wall, the 2-way Signature 5 stand mount and the Signature 8: a compact 600W dual 8” subwoofer with an opposing ‘balanced-array’ driver design.
The Signature 10 and 6 include fixed wall mount brackets (the 10 with vertical or horizonal mounting options) for simple installation, integrating with System Audio W.5 brackets to deliver angled mounting.
The brand has introduced a new 1” soft dome tweeter using a low-mass membrane of woven fibres for the Signature range. Its neodymium magnet has an internal chamber that allows the tweeter to be used at lower crossover frequency, while its patented DXT acoustic waveguide delivers dispersion in-room.
Two new 5.5” bass/mid drivers have also been custom made for smaller or larger enclosure size, both using a low-mass glass fibre diaphragm with long-stroke motor systems to move 40% more air than a traditional speaker of the same size.
