Klipsch has announced four new subwoofers designed to match the power and performance of its best-selling Reference Premiere speakers.
The Klipsch Reference Premiere subwoofers are high-performance and hyper-efficient with the optimal balance between amplifier power, driver capability and cabinet volume. The new subwoofers achieve maximum low-frequency extension with high output, accuracy and speed.
The new range have a front-firing spun copper Cerametallic woofer that delivers remarkably low-frequency response with minimal distortion.
The built-in, high-efficiency amplifier features an analogue preamp design to maintain the original signal path for clean, true-to-source reproduction. A Class D output stage is used to ensure maximum efficiency for maximum output, detail, and low-frequency power.
Proprietary internal geometry with a new Aerofoil slot port design minimises port noise for clean, undistorted low frequencies.
The RCA and WA-2 wireless inputs can be used simultaneously to enable a single subwoofer to connect to multiple speaker systems in a room.
The Reference Premiere subwoofers are finished in a scratch-resistant ebony vinyl which is made to look like real wood, and covers the entire cabinet. It also features rounded corners, shock absorbing rubber feet, steel grille posts and a woven cloth grille for a premium look and feel.
