Marantz has unveiled a range of home cinema receivers incorporating HEOS connectivity on each model.
Incorporating four integrated multichannel receivers and 11.2-channel pre-amp/processor, the range features the 5-channel NR1508 and 7-channel NR1608 – both of which are to be released later this month.
Each channel on the NR1608 is driven by 90W of power, with a 32-bit/192kHz DAC and support for Apple AirPlay, Spotify Connect, Dolby Atmos (5.1.2), DTS:X and DSD (up to 5.6) also featuring WiFi and Bluetooth are also integrated, with Dolby Vision and HLG offered via HDCP2.2-compliant HDMI.
The SR6012 and SR7012 are the two full-size receivers in the range. The 9-channel models offer support for Dolby Atmos in up to 7.1.4 configuration, in addition to the WiFi/streaming/32-bit DAC/Dolby Vision/HLG capabilities of the NR1508 and NR1608. Both feature eight HDMI 2.0 inputs with onboard 4K 60Hz HDCP2.2, 11.2-channel processing and integrated Tidal, Deezer and wireless multiroom support.
Marantz’s SR6012 has 185W of power per channel, with the SR7012 offering 200W per channel, Auro 3D, Atmos and DTS:X processing, a phono stage and 11.2-channel pre-outs. The SR7704 completes the range, boosted with a XLR outputs and RCAs.
Different models from the manufacturer’s range will ship from June to October of this year.
