McIntosh has introduced its first vacuum tube integrated amplifier in more than a decade, combining pre- and power amplification in a single component.
The MA2375 offers 75 watts per channel and McIntosh’s Unity Coupled Circuit Output Transformers for consistency across four, eight or 16-ohm speakers.
Available through authorised retailers, the unit features built-in Power Guard Screen Grid Sensor (SGS) technology and Sentry Monitor fuse-less protection for reliability.
Meanwhile, analogue inputs include a configurable phono input, subwoofer and preamplifier outputs, Data Ports and an RS232 control port for integration into both traditional and modern setups.
Integrators should note key features like a five-band analogue equaliser, Power Control and Home Theatre PassThru for AV integration.
Vacuum tube amplification has been central to McIntosh since the 1940s, with the MA2375 bringing that heritage into modern listening environments.
More recently, Bose acquired McIntosh Group - the parent company behind brands including McIntosh and Sonus faber - in 2024.
The deal brings high-end audio into Bose’s portfolio, with the company indicating opportunities for collaboration in areas like noise cancellation and hearing augmentation.
