MOON has announced that it has added TIDAL Connect to its streaming products, joining Spotify Connect and AirPlay 2 which have also recently been added.
MOON system users should open the TIDAL app, choose a track to play and then click ‘available devices’ to select the MOON device they want to play it through. The audio then streams from the cloud in lossless high-fidelity audio quality.
All new MOON streaming products will feature TIDAL Connect in its proprietary MiND2 module (MOON Intelligent Network Device). Existing MOON owners can install TIDAL Connect through a firmware update.
The MOON products that will feature TIDAL Connect are the ACE all-in-one music system, MiND 2 network player, 280D streaming DAC, 390 network player/preamplifier, 680D streaming DAC and the 780D v2 streaming DAC.
