MOON has added Spotify Connect to its feature set, following its recent announcement introducing AirPlay 2 to the devices.
Spotify Connect allows users to listen to their favourite music and podcasts in Spotify’s library by simply opening the Spotify app on their phone or tablet, choosing their content, and selecting their MOON device to start playing.
Additional benefits to using Spotify Connect includes the user being able to make and receive calls on their phone without having to stop the music, as well as being able to switch between devices seamlessly. Streaming directly from Spotify Connect also saves the user’s battery life.
Existing MOON owners can install Spotify Connect through a simple firmware update. All new MOON streaming products will already feature Spotify Connect in its proprietary MiND2 module (MOON Intelligent Network Device).
