After a successful CEDIA 2018 of market testing some new products and services, Russound used ISE 2019 to give demos on the new lines.
Russound’s Media Centre (RMC) received impressive feedback from integrators at CEDIA 2018 and was demoed at this year’s ISE. Featuring RMC’s native 4K resolution alongside its high-resolution audio playback capabilities with a 192khz/24 Bit 7.1 Digital Analog Converter (DAC), the centre will enhance theatre experiences in the premium home.
The RMC will also include a variety of I/O ports including HDMI 2.0, analogue and digital I/O, Bluetooth, USB-C 3.1, RJ-45 and a Bluetooth keypad/voice remote.
Future updates will include several additional software and communication features and its modular design allows integrators to perform changes and upgrades to the technology and services.
Also on the Russound booth at ISE was its new line on in-ceiling and in-wall speakers, developed to update the current models from Russound as well as adding an in-wall model. Taking particular note of feedback from the industry, the new IC-Series line up are designed to take a ‘good, better, best’ model.
Russound also announced that the new MBX streamers are now shipping. The MBX-PRE and MBX-AMP are the latest generation of professional grade streamers from Russound, dedicated to high-resolution music performance and installation flexibility.
Both the MBX streamers and the new IC-Series line up of speakers are shipping now. More information about the new RMC will be revealed closer to CEDIA 2019.
