Nice has opened pre-orders for its new HR40 Remote Control for smart home control and the DC12-IP Smart DC Power Manager, both debuted at CEDIA last October.
The release of the HR40 and DC12-IP marks the first products branded Nice since the company announced plans to transition to ELAN, SpeakerCraft, and Panamax brands into a more powerful whole home solution by the end of 2023. Now available for pre-ordering, the Power Manager is expected to start shipping in spring and the Remote Control will ship in summer.

HR40 Smart Home Remote
The new HR40 Remote Control offers personalisation and access to more function compared to a traditional remote and is geared more towards redefining the user’s experience.
It features a 3.1” high-resolution touchscreen as its control interface to allow users to answer video doorbells, view surveillance cameras, and communicate with other interfaces using intercom.
Wirelessly configured, the HR40 integrates with Nice/ELAN system controllers and dealers can customise the remote to fit the needs of each system. Users are able to control and personalise favourites for control of media, lighting, climate, security, surveillance, and more thanks to the HR40’s swipe, scroll and touch functions.
DC12-IP Smart DC Power Manager
Nice/Panamax power protection and performance solutions have been trusted by home technology integrators and consumers for more than four decades. The DC12-IP Smart DC Power Manager from Nice is a smart, compact power management and protection solution. The Power Manager offers advanced surge protection, power sequencing, and IP control.
BlueBOLT-enabled, the DC12-IP offers cloud-based monitoring, remote control and programming of devices, and seamlessly integrates with the Nice/ELAN control system so users can easily manage their power via any user interface.
