Optoma has expanded its short-throw projection range with four compact models aimed at golf simulation, home entertainment and professional AV installations.
The lineup comprises the GT2200HDR, ZH521ST, UHZ36STe and ZK521ST, with brightness ranging from 4,000 to 5,300 lumens and features designed to support close-range, large-screen projection in constrained spaces.
Optoma says the range has been developed as golf simulators move beyond specialist venues into homes, training studios and multi-use commercial environments, where installers need bright images.
The GT2200HDR is a full HD 4LED projector with a 1.2x zoom lens and 0.69-0.82:1 throw ratio, providing flexibility when positioning the unit for golf, gaming, sport and home entertainment applications.
The ZH521ST increases output to 5,300 lumens and uses full HD DuraCore laser technology with IP6X certification.
Moving on, the UHZ36STe delivers 4,000 lumens with True 4K UHD resolution while the ZK521ST combines True 4K UHD projection with 5,000 lumens for more demanding simulation and commercial applications.
The UHZ36STe features a 0.496:1 throw ratio and dedicated golf simulation picture modes, tuned for greens and blues in bright environments.
The ZH521ST and ZK521ST offer a 0.79:1 throw ratio and include curated golf sim modes, with Optoma also working with GSPro colour specialists on a dedicated GSPro mode.
Short-throw optics allow each model to be installed close to the screen, helping reduce shadows and maximise usable space in simulator bays and shared rooms.
The ZH521ST, UHZ36STe and ZK521ST also support 360-degree and portrait projection for greater installation flexibility.
Additionally, Optoma emphasises its continued focus on lower maintenance and reduced ownership costs.
The GT2200HDR uses 4LED technology, while the ZH521ST, UHZ36STe and ZK521ST use DuraCore laser light sources rated for up to 30,000 hours without lamp replacement.
Control features include the Optoma Smart Control App for power, volume, display mode and image correction settings.
The ZH521ST and ZK521ST also support Optoma Management Suite for remote monitoring, scheduling and device control in professional environments.
