Appealing to the new remote or hybrid working trend, Samsung Electronics has launched its 2021 portfolio of high-resolution monitors for home or office working.
The advanced ergonomic design, lifelike picture quality and enhanced convenience makes it ideal for business needs as well as consumer’s needs.
There are 12 different models across three series – the S8, S7 and S6. Each model delivers more than one billion colours for a vivid and vibrant image, enhanced by HDR 10 technology. Featuring a 178-degree wide viewing angle, the monitors deliver an uncompromising viewing experience from any angle.
Recognising that many workers and consumers alike are guilty of looking at screens for most of their day, the monitors feature Intelligent Eye Care certified from TÜV Rheinland, the first in the industry to receive this recognition according to Samsung. Adaptive Picture eye care technology optimises picture quality for any viewing environment by automatically adjusting brightness and colour temperature in response to room conditions. This ensures the most comfortable viewing experience in any environment and reducing eye strain even after extended use. An eye-saver mode is also included to reduce blue light emissions which can also cause eye strain. Flicker Free is also features to protect the user’s eyes from any flickering on the screen.

The new portfolio has also been acknowledged for its energy efficiency thanks to Eco Saving Plus technology, which reduces up to 10% of power consumption by adjusting the brightness of black sections automatically while maintaining bright and vivid picture quality.
The S8 is the flagship of the new range and includes several key features for both business and creative professionals. Delivering UHD resolution, it is available in 27” and 32” options. Its flat, borderless design is made to minimise distractions while enabling near-seamless dual-monitor setups. Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) mount compatibility and Height Adjustable Stand (HAS) offer various tilt, swivel and pivot control points, allowing users to mount their monitor in any environment. Its slim metal stand and narrow depth also means less room is taken up on the desk to create a cleaner work space.

Like the S8, the S7 series also delivers UHD resolution in 27” and 32” sizes with an ultra-slim stand and 178-degree wide viewing angle panel and vibrant colour gamut. The series features a virtually borderless design and supports a convenient tilting function.
