Savant has added the new Echo style keypad to its portfolio, enabling field-configuration from three to six buttons along with the ability to configure backlight colour.
Available in both low voltage and line voltage versions, Savant’s new Echo style keypads can control lighting and more within the Savant control ecosystem.
The new Echo keypads are available in ten different button configurations and have three finish options. They are designed to fit into standard-sized openings making them compatible with an array of faceplates to different décor. The keypads are engineered to be easily read from standing height and there are nine different backlight colour options. A built-in ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness based on the amount of light in the room. It also has a Wake Mode to increase backlight when someone approaches.
The Echo keypads are not only used to control lighting, they can also control audio, video, shades, climate and more using Savant control. There is also an option for Savant’s dial for dimming or volume control.
For simplicity and convenience, Savant Scenes can be created in the Savant Pro App and easily assigned to a button on any Echo or Metropolitan style keypad. This can be set by the integrator during the set up process or at a later date by the homeowner when the integrator has unlocked feature access.
To help design the perfect keypad, Savant has launched the new Keypad Designer. Available to all Savant Integrators from the Savant Store, the new Keypad Designer allows integrators to design keypads and order engraved buttons as well as assign keypads to different rooms so that all location data can be printed on the keypad box for easy installation.
