Savant has announced the launch of architectural loudspeakers and soundbars after acquiring loudspeaker company Artison last year.
The Savant PoE Micro Aperture speakers contain efficient amplifiers in an effort to reduce installation time while maintaining audio quality. Savant is releasing three in-ceiling versions. There is a self-powered PoE speaker, a companion PoE satellite speaker and a passive (4-ohm) speaker for interface with traditional audio systems.
Each self-powered PoE speaker can run up to three PoE satellite speakers. Each unit is individually controlled and connected to the network. The speakers sit flush in the ceiling and are available with compact, paintable round or square 4-in grilles.
The Savant IP Soundbar is an AVB networked device, features six channels and 200 watts of amplification controlled by DSP and built into an extruded aluminium chassis. It uses Artison’s Stage Tweeter for wide dispersion, clarity and bass down to 75Hz. Custom grilles allow it to match TV dimensions and finish. The replaceable grilles also mean TVs can be upgraded without having to replace the soundbar. The Savant IP Soundbar comes with a TV mounting kit.
