Sony’s XG95 Series 4K HDR Full Array LED televisions will be available in retail from early March.
Sony’s precise local dimming technology, X-tended Dynamic Range PRO, independently dims and brightens the individual zones of LEDs positioned directly behind the screen to enhance contrast and brightness to give the XG95 models a cinematic feel.
The 4K HDR display is delivered through the Picture Processor X1 Ultimate, which intelligently detects and analyses each object in the picture through Sony’s Object-based Super Resolution for exceptional accuracy and detail.
The X-Wide Angle, featured in the 75-in and 85-in models, ensure owners can view the TV from any angle and it will retain its quality. To have a more immersive experience, the XG95 Series uses Sound-from-Picture Reality with Sony’s Acoustic Multi-Audio technology to precisely match the picture with the audio.
The TVs operate on the Sony Android Platform supporting a range of apps using Google Play, as well as having built-in Google Assistant and a microphone for voice controls.
The TVs will be available from early March, starting at £1,899 for the 55-in model, £2,499 for the 65-in model, £3,999 for the 75-in model, and the 85-in model’s price is still yet to be announced.
