At ISE 2022, SurgeX will unveil its latest innovations to create a solid power foundation for AV and IT system installations, with its Squid power management device taking centre stage.
On stand 5P600, SurgeX will be highlighting its multi-functional Squid power management device, combining surge protection technology with remote analytics and power management into one unique, space saving unit for residential as well as small-scale commercial applications.
Designed to provide a professional, intelligent and versatile power foundation, Squid combines the AC and DC outlets with SurgeX’s Multi-Stage surge protection, power conditioning, power management and analytical software, resulting in an easy to install, extremely compact device.
Squid also offers complete power management capabilities, such as sequencing, scheduling, auto-ping, IP control, and monitoring, helping to reduce service calls through pro-active management. Visitors to the show will be able to see how it can deliver this functionality in compliance with network security protocols including 802.1x authentication and active directory.
Justin Peyton, director of sales for EMEA at SurgeX said: “Squid is a breakthrough power management device for commercial and residential integrators. As a single, combined solution, it can save space as well as reduce the time and cost of installation. Because it incorporates SurgeX Axess Elite capabilities, it can also make service and maintenance easier. It’s what the market has been waiting for and we can’t wait to show ISE visitors what it can do.”
Also at ISE, the company will showcase solutions from its Online Double Conversion UPS range, including the 17010-50R UPS at 1kVA, 230v unit that can deliver clean continuous power via online double conversion technology to ensure the safe shutdown of equipment in the event of an outage. All incoming power is converted from AC to DC and then back to AC. If the main power is interrupted, the batteries are still holding up the incoming DC supply to the inverter, so the load continues to be supplied with absolutely no interruption whatsoever. The zero-transfer time guarantees mission critical equipment remains up and running.
SurgeX will also be showing the Defender Series, a cost-effective comprehensive mains protection and conditioning range designed to reduce equipment downtime in the event of a power surge and protect equipment functionality.
The RGB stand will also include SurgeX Remote Turn-On which features Advanced Series Mode surge elimination technology to protect sensitive equipment.
The team from SurgeX will be available throughout the show to talk to visitors about their common power issues.
