TCL launches ultra-slim 4K TV in UK

TCL Electronics has released its P615K slim design 4K HDR 10 TV to the UK market.

Combining smart functions with an ultra-thin design, the P615K Series features 4K HDR 10 and Android TV. The elegant design allows the TV to fit in with any interior design.

The TV’s 4K HDR expands the range of both the contrast and colour significantly, while reproducing the accurate light and dark shades with precise colours and detailed images.

Additionally, the SMART HDR feature upgrades SDR content to HDR, like picture quality, allowing viewers to enjoy their content in the highest picture quality possible.

The feature also improves native HDR content too and adapts it to the screen’s capabilities. Using AI and HDR scene identification, SMART HDR improves dark and bright scenes. In dark scenes, it supplements the level of brightness to express objects hidden in darker shadows. In the brighter scenes, it increases the level of contrast ratio to differentiate objects from the background. It creates a more layered and richer picture, resulting in more image details on the screen for a more lifelike picture.

Its Micro Dimming Pro technology analyses the picture in around 100 separate zones to adapt the brightness and deliver better contrast. It also significantly improves the picture quality for a better visual experience, especially in the dark.

Dolby Audio is also included on the P615K Series, complementing content with dynamic, high quality surround sound.

Delivering unlimited entertainment, Android TV features on the new TV with Google Home and Google Assistant built in to allow the smart TV to connect to the smart home ecosystem in order to control lights, temperature, and more as well as the TV itself. The P615K Series also works with Alexa.

Android TV allows the content to be cast directly onto the TV. It also includes innovative features such as easy task switching, multi-user accounts or side settings.
Available in 43", 50", 65", 70", and 75" screen sizes, the P615K Series will be available in the UK mid-December. Prices will start at £349.
