TCD’s founder and creator, Guy Singleton will host online training webinars in the coming weeks for users of the tool. Aimed at small groups, he will introduce participants to the tool’s workflow, with a focus on the new features. The sessions are being filled on a first come, first served basis, and are filling up fast. To sign up for a session, users can email welcome@thecinemadesigner.com.
“TCD is committed to providing our users with the most advanced and intuitive tool for home cinema design,” said Singleton. “These new features are the result of our extensive redesign, and we believe they will make the home design process even more efficient, enjoyable and profitable for our users.”
Select users have been trialling the new software over recent weeks and have left very positive feedback. “After viewing a demo of TCD 2.0, I am convinced that it will continue to revolutionise the industry, and CEDIA members will undoubtedly benefit from its new, game-changing features,” said Daryl Friedman, global president and CEO of CEDIA. “CEDIA’s partnership with TCD enables our members to access this exciting platform at a substantial cost reduction, and I look forward to personally working with Guy to champion this valuable member benefit within the CEDIA community.”
David Pedigo, global director of training at Trinnov Audio added: “We at Trinnov Audio strongly believe in The Cinema Designer and encourage all integrators to utilise it in your cinema and media room designs, regardless of size. TCD 2.0 is an immensely powerful tool providing technically accurate cinema design based on engineering and industry best practices.”
With almost 100 manufacturers included within the tool, TCD becomes an even more powerful and indispensable resource for the industry.
Concluding, Singleton said: “We are home cinema designers at heart; proud that TCD has revolutionised the design process and that, as a result, standards have increased across the board, which is great for designers, manufacturers, and end-users alike. We are now very excited to bring the TCD 2.0 enhancements to users, as we know that this takes TCD to a new level.”
