Vantage Controls, a brand of Legrand | AV Residential Solutions, has announced a new collaboration with LED luminaire and technology manufacturer, WAC Lighting, to provide integrators with end-to-end, human-centric lighting (HCL).
Designed for high-end luxury homes, Vantage’s advanced lighting control capabilities are combined with the Lumenetix araya5 light engine built into WAC’s tuneable, low-voltage LED lighting fixtures.
To provide HCL, the Vantage controller is programmed to match the sunrise and sunset schedule shift throughout the year that best supports people’s natural circadian rhythm based on the location of each installation.
Homeowners can press a button to override the programming at any time with scenic presets. The Vantage platform is compatible with DMX or 0V to 10V protocols, providing intuitive single-button control of whichever technology is behind the LED source.
This partnership is Vantage’s latest push to foster relationships with lighting fixture manufacturers that utilise the Lumenetix araya5 light engine.
These fixtures replicate natural daylight to enhance aesthetics, comfort, wellness and visual perception, giving integrator an end-to-end LED lighting solution that is easily installed and maintained, energy-efficient, and synchronised with the human circadian clock.
