visiomatic International has launched a smart mirror with HD resolution allowing users to access apps and multimedia with voice commands.
Constructed from semi-permeable one-way glass, the infoMirror incorporates motion detection technology allowing it to switch on and off automatically when in use.
Capable of running several apps, the display can provide a personalised display of information relevant to the user (e.g. daily news, local weather, stock market figures, sports results or lowest fuel prices) whilst also providing access their calendar of events, playlists, health apps, internet radio/YouTube and phone calls and email.
The mirror offers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution and is available in 28-in (60 x 40cm) and 39-in (80 x 60) models, with optional integrated HD camera or installation frame at additional costs. With the camera function, users and take images in front of the mirror that can be saved locally and sent via email. The camera can furthermore be used for Skype video calls.
Users can adjust the colour temperature from warm to cold white and dim the brightness (up to 300 lumens) to create their ideal environment.
The smart mirror is compatible with bus interfaces from KNX, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Philips HUE and more for integration with other devices in the home.
