AVID has unveiled an advanced 3.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker as the new flagship of its Evo series.
The British analogue hifi manufacturer presents the Evo Two, which features a revised cabinet and driver arrangement to improve low-frequency performance and soundstage depth.
The 3.5-way floorstander hits the market shortly after the Relveo turntable launched in July, creating opportunities for a cohesive system from source to speaker.
Conrad Mas, managing director of AVID HiFi, said: "The Evo Two was developed in response to customer feedback requesting a speaker with great presence and low-end articulation, whilst maintaining the clarity and openness characteristic of the Evo series.
“It is particularly suitable for larger rooms and properties where wall construction may be less rigid."
Handmade in the UK, the Evo Two’s premium driver complement includes a 28mm Acuflex soft dome tweeter, two 160mm midrange drivers and a 250mm LF driver.
The drive units are mounted on a rigid brushed anodised aluminium baffle and rear plate.
Mas personally engineered the new model to ensure it provides an enhanced bass response and broader dynamic range than its predecessors, suitable for all musical genres.
The loudspeaker will make its international debut at the Taiwan International TAA High-End Audio Show 2025 on August 7-10.
