Bang & Olufsen has reimagined its flagship loudspeaker, crafted to mark the company’s 100-year anniversary.
Developed through the brand’s Atelier bespoke programme, the Beolab 90 Titan Edition celebrates a decade since the original Beolab 90’s debut and serves as a statement of B&O’s ongoing commitment to fearless craftsmanship.
CEO Kristian Teär said the Titan Edition honours the brand’s legacy while pushing the boundaries of what’s possible when “artistry, technology and vision converge.”
Stripped of its acoustic veils to reveal its structure, the Titan Edition reinterprets the Beolab 90 as an expression of industrial beauty and pure sound.
Its bespoke 65kg aluminium cabinet has been hand-sandblasted with volcanic rock particles to achieve a raw, textured finish, contrasted by polished base panels that create a subtle floating effect.
The Titan Edition preserves the technological foundation that made the 2015 Beolab 90 a benchmark in high-end audio, including 18 drivers powered by dedicated amplification, advanced DSP and beam-forming control and a 360-degree soundfield.
Limited in number, the Beolab 90 Titan Edition is the first of five Atelier masterpieces that will be released throughout the centenary year, each offering a unique interpretation of the flagship.
